RESUME
Marketing coordinator
Beginning in April 2019, I supported event planning and developed customer collateral to support the January Spring sales efforts. In order to do this, I researched and analyzed campaign optimization strategies and tools such as SEO and geo-fencing to reinforce the sales team. I increased the customer acquisition close rate by 28% through revamping case study materials, refining and standardizing the analytics and format of their materials, and general administrative assistance.
arts communication assistant
Working under the Arts Communication Director, I facilitated the development of audience feedback and satisfaction tools and analyzed responses to review and sharpen communications strategies. I also increased local media engagement by 40% through strengthening the CFA’s media contact database and identifying relevant communication efforts to drive awareness of programming to the surrounding communities.
Communications lead
I was a member of a small team of students that conceptualized and launched the first annual Sexual Assault Awareness Week on Wesleyan’s campus. Within just a year, this initiative expanded into a month-long series of events entitled Survivor Solidarity Month. My main role was to create a compelling social media presence, and I designed and managed marketing initiatives and campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. I also utilized grassroots contact to maximize community participation and inspire education on sexual assault.
Vice president
During the year that I served as VP, I worked with the President in order to oversee the operations of the organization in a mission to redefine "sorority," including the rewriting of our “bylaws” and general administrative tasks. I was solely responsible for managing the General Board and supervised all committee activity with a focus on three committees, including Public Relations.
Rush chair
As the Rush Chair, I planned, arranged, and executed ten events, including an information session, a Social Justice movie screening, a local scavenger hunt, and a formal ceremony. As a result of these events, the sorority successfully recruited a record setting number of new members.
