assistant counselor
For over 10 weeks in the Summer of 2017, I supervised, mentored and cared for nineteen girls aged 12-14 years to help them grow into strong, independent women. During this time, I led on and off-camp trips, outdoor activities and educational programs for campers of all ages to build the children's sense of community and improve outdoor stewardship. I also maintained the cleanliness of the camp's common spaces and worked in the dish room during every meal.
hostess and server
I worked at the busiest Hacienda location in Colorado, and loved that no day looked the same. As the hostess, I greeted guests and coordinated the wait list. As a server, I served guests in a fast-paced and high energy restaurant environment. During both roles, I worked in all aspects of restaurant management, including resolving customer issues quickly and efficiently, and ensuring an optimal customer experience.

For all four years I spent at Wesleyan, I worked as a Cashier at the campus grocery store. I learned general administrative duties, stocking, new product development. I was also responsible for ensuring that each customer received outstanding service by providing a friendly and efficient environment.
